What does everyday life mean to you?

Everyday life for me is being busy, but at the same time having time to sit at home (or in a park) and read / write / crochet / watch movies. My everyday life has changed since I finished being a student – at least for a little while – a month ago. I still have to get used to not having to go to class and write essays, but luckily I found enough (small) projects to stay at least a bit busy.

Can you share a daily ritual with us?

Everyday before i go to bed i write in my two daily journals: a 'one line a day' journal for 5 years and a 'q&a a day' journal, also for 5 years. I like to re-live my day and write about it in only a few lines. Answering questions is another favorite of mine – I can't wait for may 21st 2012 ; which is one year after I started both journals. It's going to be so much fun reading back what I wrote one year (and two, three and four years!) before.

How do you break the pattern of daily life every once in a while?

I try to be more impulsive. Do new things, meet new people, try new food. New music, new places.
